Overview
Bubblez: Brick Breaker (“Bubblez”, “the App”) is a physics arcade puzzle game. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
Summary
Bubblez does not collect personal information directly. To deliver ads and process the optional one-time “Remove Ads” purchase, the App embeds two Google SDKs that may collect a limited set of technical and advertising identifiers as described below. If a consent prompt is required in your region, the App uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent before serving personalized ads. If consent cannot be checked or the form is temporarily unavailable, ad requests are sent in a non-personalized mode.
What the App Itself Stores
All game progress — score, coins, skill upgrades, settings, ad-throttle counters, the last observed Google UMP consent status/timestamp, and the “Remove Ads” entitlement flag — is stored locally on your device using the platform’s standard application data storage. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not accessible to other applications
- Is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data
Third-Party SDKs
Google AdMob (Advertising)
Bubblez serves rewarded video ads (after each completed match, opt-in) and occasional interstitial ads (throttled to at most one per 30 minutes and never within the player’s first three matches). Ad delivery is provided by Google AdMob, which may collect:
- Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, AAID)
- Approximate location derived from IP address (country / region only)
- Device information (model, OS version, language)
- App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks)
Google’s use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Bubblez uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to determine whether a consent prompt is required in your region. When required, the consent form is shown before personalized ads are requested. You can revisit the available consent options at any time from Settings → Privacy & Consent. The App stores only the last observed consent status and timestamp locally; Google UMP stores and manages the consent choice itself.
Google Play Billing (Purchases)
The optional one-time “Remove Ads” purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles all payment information; the App never sees, stores, or transmits your payment details. The App only stores a local boolean flag indicating whether you own the entitlement.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Ad serving is configured with the “tag-for-child-directed-treatment” flag set to false and limits ad content rating to Google’s G category.
Your Rights
- Reset the advertising identifier via your device’s system settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Review ad consent options in the App via Settings → Privacy & Consent.
- Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App or clearing its data via the Android system Settings.
Data Sharing
The App itself does not share any data with third parties. Data collected by the embedded Google SDKs is shared with Google as described in their respective privacy policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if future versions of Bubblez introduce features that affect data handling. Material changes will be reflected with a new effective date and surfaced in the App when required.
